Inscribed on bell "INSTRUMENTS DE MUSIQUE" / monogram / "COUESNON & CIE / FOURNISSEURS DE L'ARMEE / 94 RUE D'ANGOULEME / PARIS" / "13" in flower motif / "SÉRIE S.G / Patriote"; on plate on bell "E.B / 14577 / ...". Playing accessories: With shank. Shank stuck in instrument body. Usable pitch: In Bb high pitch. Tuning slide extends to allow use at A4 = 440 Hz. Performance characteristics: Very warm sound particularly at bottom register. Purchased by lender with and possibly formerly used with mouthpiece (3088).
