Usable pitch: A₄ = 440 Hz.
Decoration: various vine motif engravings on upper and lower metal plates.
Signature/Marks: Inscribed on upper metal plate "THE / SUPER / CHROMONICA / M. HOHNER / CHROMATIC HARMONICA" and above the blowholes "1" ... "12"; on lower plate "TRADE MARK / GESETZL. / GESCH. / MADE BY M. HOHNER GERMANY"; and to far right of upper plate "G".
In own wooden case covered in red leather and green marbled paper with a brass clip fastening, lined with purple felt. Box lid printed with "The/ SUPER / CHROMONICA / M. HOHNER / MADE IN GERMANY FABRIQUE EN ALLEMAGNE / CHROMATIC HARMONICA"; label on front of box reads "No 260 1/2"; and Hohner label on underside. With wrapping tissue printed with advertising material. |
