Cup volume 4644; shape quotient 1.212. Overall size: length 73.0; external diameter 34.5. Sounding length: cup depth 17. Bore: cup diameter 23.5; minimum diameter 7.2. Depth of taper: shank depth 35.8. Diameter of taper: maximum 12.8; minimum 11.0. Stamped on side of cup "MILLEREAU / PARIS" within ellipse. Plating worn off exterior, traces of former silver-plating now only inside cup. Purchased by lender with and possibly formerly used with ophicleide in Bb (3590). |
