Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top sprung with compression spring outside stem; alignment by key on piston. Inscribed on bell "C. MAHILLON / FOURNISSEUR BREVETE / DE L'ARMEE / ET DES / CONSERVATOIRES / BRUXELLES". Overall size: 319; bell 112. Sounding length: minimum 932. Bore: mouthpipe at c 25mm from mouthpiece receiver (local minimum bore) 10.0; centre of valve cluster at c 180mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1, 2, 3,) 9.9; m.t.s. at c 194mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning-slide bore 9.8; at bell end, 14.55; at 15.4mm from bell end, 63.1. B = 0.70. Bell cutoff = 1500 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m. r. t. 10.2 - 10.0.
