Shorter main tuning-slide than on (2529). Valve type: 3 Périnet valves; `New Valve Action' (top sprung; springs extend when valves operated). Signature marks: Inscribed on bell "NVA / `SILBRON'' / (REGISTERED) / CLASS A / TRADE MARK / BOOSEY / BOOSEY & CO LTD / MAKERS, LONDON / 132777 / British Throughout", with trumpet & banner trademark. Inscribed on under-side of bell "PLATED BY BOOSEY & CO". Inscribed on valves "40", "41" / trumpet and banner trademark / "104827 / PATENT 193729", "42"; inscribed on bottom caps "40", "41", "25" (sic); inscribed on underside of quick-change valve "1A'; inscribed on ferrules of tuning-slides "A" and "B♭". Overall size: 498; bell 115. Sounding length: minimum 1298. Bore: mouthpipe at c 20mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 10.05; m.t.s. at c 180mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning-slide bores 10.75 - 11.0; v.t.s. bore 11.0. At 649mm from bell end, c 11.0; at c 302mm from bell end, 15.55; at 13.4mm from bell end, 68.9. B = 0.70. Bell cutoff = 1500 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 10.9 - 10.0.
