DescriptionTechnical description: german silver; medium rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.25; deep intermediate, almost conical, cup shape with sharp-edged throat. Cup volume 3027; shape quotient 1.239. Overall size: length 67.6; external diameter 28.7. Sounding length: cup depth c 17. Bore: cup diameter 19.7; minimum diameter 5.2 at c 17.5. Depth of taper: shank depth 34.1. Diameter of taper: maximum 12.2; minimum 10.4. No inscriptions. Probably formerly used with and possibly supplied by manufacturer with alto trombone (3704). |
