Technical description: Brass with applied silver rim; semi-flat rim contour; maximum bite curvature 0.75; conical cup shape; maximum throat curvature 8. Cup volume 1591; shape quotient 1.088. Overall size: length 93; external diameter 28.7. Sounding length: cup depth 14; grain length c 19; backbore length c 60. Bore: cup diameter 17.3; minimum diameter 4.9. Depth of taper: shank depth 46.5. Diameter of taper: maximum 14.0; minimum 11.0. No inscriptions. Lent with, possibly formerly used with and possibly supplied by manufacturer with slide trumpet in F etc (3288).
