Overall size: length 79.8; external diameter 37.2. Sounding length: cup depth 21. Bore: cup diameter 24.2; minimum diameter 5.8. Depth of taper: shank depth 36.8. Diameter of taper: maximum 13.1; minimum 11.2. Stamped on side of cup "VINCENT BACH CORP., NEW YORK" and "15". General literature references: Described in maker's brochure as 'A full toned mouthpiece of mellow timbre for the trombone, baritone, and euphonium soloist. Similar to No. 11 but slightly smaller cup diameter for players with thin, muscular lips'. Purchased by lender with and formerly used with Kaiserbaryton in Bb (3412). |
