Stamped on side of 1st valve casing "277", on 2nd "278"; on 3rd "279". Overall size: 485; bell 113 Sounding length: minimum 1285. Bore: mouthpipe at c 40mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 9.8; m.t.s. at c 221mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning-slide bore 11.0; centre of valve cluster at c 629mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (3, 2, 1) 11.0; at 643mm from bell end, c 11.0; at c 345mm from bell end, 15.55; at 18.1mm from bell end, 68.5. B = 0.67. Bell cutoff = 1200 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece: m.r.t 10.9 - 10.1. Decorative features: mother-of-pearl buttons.
