Valve type: 3 rotary valves; clock spring drum mechanism; cork buffers mounted on spindles. Repair History: Mouthpipe entry to 1st valve built up with patch. Overall size: 444; bell 123. Sounding length: minimum 1745. Bore: at c 60 from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 10.2; Bore: mouthpipe at c 120mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 10.95; centre of valve cluster at c 120mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore 10.95; m.t.s. at c 685mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bores 11.0 11.6; at 873mm from bell end, c 11.4; at c 337mm from bell end, 16.1; at 17.4mm from bell end, 73.4. B = 0.72. Bell cutoff = 1200 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 11.8 - 10.9. Inscribed on bell garland "Z*valud P. - Theresienstadt - Böhmen"; on valve top caps "16", "56", "56"; on underside of each valve connecting-rod "56". * Usable pitch: Plays c 40 cents above A⁴ = 440 Hz; tuning-slide allows use at Diapason Normal.
