Technical description: Silver-plated; medium rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.75; deep funnel, almost "conical with tapered throat", cup shape; maximum throat curvature c 16. Cup volume 3273; shape quotient 1.048. Repair History: Worn rim. Cut-down shank? Overall size: length 62.3; external diameter 29.4. Sounding length: cup depth c 26. Bore: cup diameter 17.5; minimum diameter 4.2. Depth of taper: shank depth 26.6. Diameter of taper: maximum 11.3; minimum 10.2. Stamped on side of cup "48A" and at top of shank "B & H LONDON".
