DescriptionTechnical description: The round, concave, light pernambuco bow ends in a modern head with an ivory headface and an ebony headface lining. The stick is very shiny. The screw-mechanism, rounded, ebony frog has mother-of-pearl decorative eyes, a mother-of-pearl slide, a metal ferrule without a wedge, and a metal underslide. The bow hair is black. The ebony button has nickel rings, a mother-of-pearl button eye, and is octagonal with a rim. Measurements: Weight: 70g. Hair length: 597mm. Balance point: 266mm. Head height: 27.95mm. Head width: 12.0mm. Face length: 29.3mm (from mid-point to mid-point). Tip diameter: 7mm. Frog diameter: 9.6mm. Nipple range: 1.7 to 1.8. Period of oscillation: 1.35. Distance from pivot to tail: 76.15mm. Button length: 18.2mm. Ferrule width: 14.2mm. Frog + stick height: 31.8mm. Frog top length: 51.8mm. The stick is stamped "VUILLAUME", upside down on the finger side, over the frog; the stampe is 14.85mm wide and 1.41mm high.
