Bell angled upwards and forwards with swivel adjustment of horizontal direction. Music card-holder fitting. Ring for R.H. thumb. Water-key on main tuning-slide. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung; alignment by key on piston. Serial number: 243531. Overall size: 633; bell 203. Sounding length: minimum (in F) 1795; tuning slide extension adds 228mm to air column length. Bore: mouthpipe at c 31mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 9.95; centre of valve cluster at c 175mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1,2,3,) 11.75; m.t.s. at c 224mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bores 12.3 13.5; 898mm from bell end, c 16.8; c 567mm from bell end, 23.75.
