Bore: mouthpipe at c 25mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 10.0; m.t.s. at c 442mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 12.5; centre of valve cluster at c 910mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (3,2,1) 12.5; 1009mm from bell end, c 13.0; c 635mm from bell end, 18.4. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 10.9 10.2. Stamped on bell "Willson / BAND INSTRUMENTS / SWITZERLAND" and engraved underneath "U.I.G. 188"; on side of 2nd valve casing "WILLSON 4868"; on sides of valve stems "1, 2, 3". Decorative features: Mother of pearl buttons. With fitted hard cased covered in black artificial leather; printed aluminium label on lid inscribed "Willson / Made in Switzerland"; yellow plastic luggage tag printed in red "MUSIQUE MUNCIPALE DE LA / VILLE DE GENEVE (SWITZERLAND)". Repair History: Stud has become detached from valve tuning slide 2, but is still present. Purchased by lender and probably supplied by maker with mouthpiece (3893).
