Technical description: Silver-plated brass. Water-key on main tuning-slide Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom sprung, alignment by key on piston. Repair History: The three valve buttons do not all match - two have with mother-of-pearl insert.

Bore: mouthpipe at c 25mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 13.6; m.t.s. at c 370mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bores 17.6 - 18.5; centre of valve cluster at c 841mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1,2,3) 18.55; at 2767mm from bell end, c 41.0; at c 2133mm from bell end, 58.0. B = 0.36.
Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 14.8 - 13.9.
Inscribed on bell "MADE BY / C.G. CONN Ltd. / ELKHART / IND."; on side of valve casings "1", "2 / 169899 / PATENTED", "3".
Decorative features: Floral embellishment around inscription on bell.
Knob missing from 2nd valve tuning slide. Silver plating originally very thin and now worn off over much of the area.
