DescriptionTechnical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Eight pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, two upper sections (A/B♭), two middle sections (A/B♭) for the fingers of the right hand, lower section with keys, bell. Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a fusiform swelling. Extendable L4 levers. Interestingly 6th key is B♮₃/F♯₅ in a slender wood block. Brass tube in thumb-hole. G♯₃/E♭₅ key resembles Simiot instruments as do other details.
