DescriptionTechnical description: Rosewood; 4 sections (lower body and foot in one piece); silver keys; 6 grooved silver ferrules; screw-stopper with ivory screw and graduated silver pin; tuning-slide (no gradations) extending from head only, head not metal-lined; upper socket of tuning-slide section metal-capped; cork-lapped tenons; medium-sized, almost circular embouchure-hole; pronounced conical shape to upper part of head; overlapping low C/C♯ touches; long F keyshank is highly arched for no apparent reason unless the player habitually rested the tip of R4 on the instrument.
