Named ebonite mouthpiece with Mahillon's tuning mechanism. Patent C sharp mechanism. Pupeschi system combines L4 lever with key for C♯₄/G♯₅ to relieve a legato between these notes. Ebonite bell. 11 keys, 3 rings. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throat A♮. L2: T; throat A♭. L3: T; cross E♭₄/B♭₅. L4: C♯₄/G♯₅ articulated with both E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅.
