DescriptionTechnical description: Grained boxwood with german silver keys, ferrules, and bell rim. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Mouthpiece dark wood, with full-length table, and with ligature. Barrel slightly bulbous with to small german silver ferrules. Upper section: speaker liner projects c 3mm into bore. Lower section: the levers for R4 are curved and getting broader at the touchpieces. Bell mostly continuous. Ferrules on bell and lower section noticeably arched, those on barrel less so. R0: T; speaker. R1: T; throat A♮; throat A♭. R2: T. R3: T; E♭₄/B♭₅. R4: C♯₄/G♯₅; E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅. L1: T; side F₄/C₆; side trill key for throat A-B♮ and B♭-C. L2: T. L3: T; B♭₃/F♮₅; R4: F₃/C₅ hinge key; G♯₃/E♭₅; side B♮₃/F♯₅. Keyhead type: shallow saltspoon. Keymount type: pillars. With german silver reed-cap. Usable pitch: A₄ = c 450 Hz.
