NEWPORT ST. / LONDON / 6401" with the "os" of "Cos" in superscript; on right side of 3rd valve "9"; on right side of 2nd valve at top, "8" / words forming an ellipse "DISTIN * LONDON *", no trace of "MAKER" inside; at bottom "6401"; on right side of 1st valve "7"; on top and bottom caps "7" ... "9".
With fitted wooden case.
