Blaikley's patent B♭ mechanism features two different tone-holes for overblowing and throat B♭ without changing the fingering. Ebonite lined tone-holes. Barret action. Articulated C♯₄/G♯₅ opened by L4, closed by R1. This tone-hole through tenon of upper section. Covered tone-holes for R1 and R2, Spencer's model. C sharp mechanism. Shaped thumb rest. Integral ebonite bell rim. 13 keys, 3 rings, 2 covered tone-holes, 6 ebonite rollers. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throat A♮. L2: T + ring; throat A♭. L3: T + ring; cross E♭₄/B♭₅.
