Technical description: Brass; medium rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.5; intermediate cup shape; maximum throat curvature 10. Cup volume 1230; shape quotient 1.143. Overall size: length 61.8; external diameter 23.5. Sounding length: cup depth 11. Bore: cup diameter 15.6; minimum diameter 3.4. Depth of taper: shank depth 31.8. Diameter of taper: maximum 10.2; minimum 8.9. No inscriptions. Purchased by lender with and possibly formerly used with posthorn in C etc (3052), but does not fit its crooks.
