Bore: mouthpipe at c 60mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) c 12.2; m.t.s. at c 248mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 13.3; centre of valve cluster at c 577mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1,2,3) 13.3; 1344mm from bell end, c 20.8; c 907mm from bell end, 28.7. B = 0.51. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 12.7 12.4. Inscribed on bell "COUTURIER / à Lyon / N / SAXHORN / 428" with monogram "A.S. autorisé. J.C. Lyon"; on 2nd valve "519".
