DescriptionTechnical description: Brass with german silver fittings; tuning slide outers red brass, otherwise yellow brass; garland german silver, width 49. With shank for B♭ and crook for F, with corresponding alternative sets of valve tuning-slides. Valve type: 3 Wiener Pumpen double piston valves. Signature/Marks: Inscribed on garland "DANIEL FUCHS IN WIEN IV. BZ. HAUPTSTR: 12"; in middle of valve mounting block "5". Decoration: milled pattern along inner edge of garland. Repair History: Inside of bell lacquered blue (not original). With fitted hard case, covered in black leathercloth. Lent with and possibly used by the owner with mouthpieces (4462) and (4463). |
