Technical description: 1 coil; brass; ligature tuning at mouth pipe; one brass ferrule; flared bell; mouthpiece receiver is almost parallel, unlike the external taper of the original mouthpiece.
Inscribed on german silver plaque on bell "HONSUY".
Usable pitch: C4 (2nd natural note) and G4 (3rd natural note) are at A4 = 440 Hz.
Performance characteristics: 4th natural note, 5th natural note and 6th natural note are a semitone sharper than 2nd natural note and 3rd natural note.
