Adjustable finger-ring for operating 3rd valve tuning-slide. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top sprung, alignment by detent on spring-plate. Inscribed on bell "MADE BY / HÜTTL / REGD. / WESTERN / GERMANY / LINE 1000"; on side of 2nd valve casing "74754". Overall size: 404; bell 104 Bore: mouthpipe at c 20mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 10.1; m.t.s. at c 162mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning-slide bores 11.6 - 11.4; centre of valve cluster at c 443mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (3, 2, 1) 11.7; at 511mm from bell end, c 11.7; at c 292 mm from bell end, 16.55; at 19.0mm from bell end, 67.1. B = 0.62. Bell cutoff = 1000 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 10.8 - 10.2. Decorative features: floral decoration around inscription.
