DescriptionTechnical description: English grand pianoforte. Compass 68 notes F₁ - C₇ [FF - c'''']. Trichord stringing throughout. Two pedals: una corda and damper lift (sustaining pedal divided with the dampers split at C₄ to allow the treble and bass dampers to be operated separately). Hand stop on the right of the keyboard which moves the keyboard further so that only one string is struck. Repair History: Restored by John Barnes in 1981 with later work in 1987. |
