Stamped "METZLER / LONDON / 8" Overall size: 321 mm Sounding length: embouchure to foot, 266 mm Bore: conical Performance characteristics: Range D⁴ - A⁶ (sounding D⁵ - A⁷). Speaks clearly in upper register, but not in lower; intonation wayward, but this may be due to cork position (very close to embouchure-hole). Usable pitch: Sounding A⁴ = c 442 Hz. |
