2 valves. Technical description: chromium-plated brass; two water-keys. Valve type: 1 Périnet valve, bottom sprung, alignment by key on piston. 1 rotary valve, cork buffers on top cap. Repair History: One leg of tuning-slide possibly an inexact replacement, or simply built from available components in the first instance. Overall size: 534; bell 286. Sounding length: minimum 1648. Bore: mouthpipe at c 70mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 8.9; m.t.s. at c 331mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 11.7; m.t.s. at c 567mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 11.3 (sic); at 824mm from bell end, c 11.6; at c 544mm from bell end, 16.4. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 11.2 - 10.6. Inscribed on bell "Imperial"; on side of piston valve casing "434" and "MADE IN CANADA".
