Technical description black material, possibly ebonite; flat rim contour; maximum bite curvature 0.75; hemispherical cup shape; sharp edged throat. Cup volume 6391; shape quotient 1.347. Overall size: length 51.1; external diameter 34.2. Sounding length: cup depth 18. Bore: cup diameter 27.1; minimum diameter 6.8 at c 41. Depth of taper: shank depth 16.5. Diameter of taper: maximum 12.1; minimum 11.0. No inscriptions. Made for serpent in C (1156).
