Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom sprung; alignment by key on piston. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung; alignment by key on piston. Inscribed on bell "BESSON/INTERNATIONAL" within ribbon; on side of 2nd valve casing "BESSON & Co" / five-pointed star / "BREVETE", all within ellipse, and "128780"; on valve stems and inside bottom caps "7", "8", "9". Decorative features: hexagonal buttons with mother-of-pearl inserts. Purchased by lender with and possibly formerly used with associated with mouthpiece (4262); possibly formerly used with associated with mute (4263). Overall size: 493; bell 112. Bore: m.t.s. 11.4; v.t.s. (3,2,1) 11.6. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 11.2 - 10.1.
