DescriptionTechnical description: Body of bamboo, diameter 46 mm, depth 103 mm; neck of bamboo; sound-table of snakeskin, currently secured with blue tape. Decorative ivory cap at top of neck. Instrument originally had 2 silk strings and two pegs. Label stuck to body with Chinese script; also label "806" (?) possibly an auction sale lot number. Both strings and both pegs missing; no bow. |
