Repair History: Patched where upper slide stay worn through and outer slide worn through in one place; new ligature screw supplied, J. & R. Glen, 24.1.75 - 12.2.75. Overall size: 1158; bell 178. Bore: at c 30mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 10.6; expanding by 100mm from mouthpiece receiver to bore c 11.1; descending slide, 12.3; ascending slide, 12.8. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 11.8 - 11.1. Inscribed on bell "THE / BUESCHER / ELKHART / -IND- / USA"; on slide section at joint (lettering very worn) "240986 / LP / 410 / PAT.OCT 29.07"; on bell section at joint "410". Decorative features: Foliage engraving on bell. Usable pitch: A⁴ = 439-440 Hz. |
