DescriptionTechnical description: Shell copper upper with brass lower section; the release hole at bottom of bowl recently fitted inside with brass tube 90mm long and 12.5mm bore. Skin head; tuned by means of handles. Decoration: counter-hoop painted white. Stamped on each tuning handle and on shell mountings "1". An arrow marked one of the lugs on the counter-hoop indicates correspondence with threaded mounting on the shell when correctly aligned. Performance characteristics: Range A² to F³. Repair History: Leather socks on stand replaced c 1993. |
