DescriptionTechnical description: The homemade-looking stick was made from two pieces, or has had its head replaced; the head forms one piece and the stick itself another. The round, concave stick is made of varnished hardwood resembling snakewood and ends in a large, rectangular head, vaguely resembling a modern head design. The thick headface is made of ivory. The screw-mechanism, rounded frog is made from varnished wood matching the stick and has a brass underslide which is attached by screws. The screw eye is also brass. The frog has metal ferrule with rounded edges, a seam along the middle of the top, and a wooden ferrule wedge. The frog also has an ivory slide, and a metal heelplate. The bone button is octagonal with a rim.
