DescriptionOverall size: 270; bell 104. Technical description: Unfinished hydraulic expansion moulded 2 coil model. This method of making bugles (and parts of other instruments) was developed as an alternative to bending tubes by hand. Instead, prepared tube is fitted loosely in a mould and expanded to the correct external profile by water at high pressure. No inscriptions. One segment only present: one coil, from bell to mid tube ferrule. |
