DescriptionTechnical description: The convex, light brown, wooden stick is painted reddish brown and ends in a rounded meat cleaver head with an ivory headface. The stick is rounded along its whole length, and has tracks for the frog. The large, screw-mechanism, canted, light-coloured, wooden frog has been stained (?) a dark colour and has ebony decorative eyes and an ebony slide. The frog has a metal ferrule with a wooden ferrule wedge, and a metal screw eye. The current hair on the bow is black. The ebony button is cylindrical with a rim.

There is a crack near the top of the thumb side of the frog. The buttom of the frog is cracked along the finger side of the slide, near the ferrule. The ferrule is not flush with the frog.
