DescriptionTechnical description: Brass; round rim contour; maximum bite curvature 2.0; intermediate, almost conical, cup shape with smoothly blended throat. Cup volume 1235; shape quotient 1.189. Overall size: length 86.8; external diameter 26.6. Sounding length: cup depth 12. Bore: cup diameter 16.1; minimum diameter 3.5. Depth of taper: shank depth 41.2. Diameter of taper: maximum 12.4; minimum 10.4. No inscriptions. Purchased by previous owner and probably formerly used with valve trumpet in Bb (599). |
