DescriptionTechnical description: Brass; curved body and crook; thread lapping for mouthpiece; fitting for music card holder. Cocus wood mouthpiece with inlaid brass ferrule. Bracing under crook and between body and bell. Thumb rest and loop for neck strap on dorsal side.

Inscription: on side of bell "No. 16870 / Saxophone tenor en Si b brevete / Adolphe Sax a Paris / Fteur. de la Mson. Milre. de l'Empereur"; on front of bell near rim "58" and (upside-down) "7" and "R" and "09".
Repair History: Several dents to the body. Poor action of C3 key.
