According to the firm's archives [instruments books], the instrument was model B56, made in a batch of six. Overall size: Overall length 1330 (slide in); bell 190. Bore: at c 30mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 12.1; descending slide, 12.1; ascending slide, 12.1; m.t.s. bore, 14.4 - 18.8. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 13.0 - 12.4. Inscribed on bell "CLASS B" / trumpet and banner trademark BOOSEY / "BOOSEY & CO / MAKERS. LONDON / 111945 / British Throughout"; on slide "BOOSEY & CO / 111945".
