Bore: instrument body at c 45mm from mouthpipe receiver (local minimum bore), 11.1; m.t.s. at c 273mm from mouthpipe receiver, tuning slide bore 13.8; 2040mm from bell end, c 20.1; c 1655mm from bell end, 28.4. B = 0.48. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: ligature fitting for missing mouthpipe internal diameter 12.7. Inscribed on bell "1" (inverted) / musical motif of treble clef and notes C4, E4, G4 / "MILLEREAU / BREVET / Fr. du Conservatoire de Paris / Médailles d'Or d'Argent / Diplômes d'Honneur / 66. RUE D'ANGOULÈME / PARIS."; on edge of bell in large individually stamped letters "C A P 1". Mouthpipe (ligature fitting) missing.
