DescriptionSoundboard of spruce in one wide piece. Soundhole 65mm diameter, surrounded by strips of ebony/maple/ebony/maple/ebony (double thickness)/maple/ebony/maple/ebony. The soundboard has been edged in black-stained rosewood, with maple/ebony (double thickness)/maple/ebony inside. The soundboard protrudes partly up the neck to join the fingerboard at fret 9. Bridge of ebony with ivory dots, half moon shape at bottom. Integral saddle. Ebony dots with ivory tops at either end of the bridge. Bridge pins of rosewood. The sides and (one piece) back are of mahogany. Edging of black-stained rosewood between the back and sides. The heel, neck and head are of black-stained maple, the heel and neck joined with a sharp angle, and there is a V joint between the head and neck. Figure-of-eight shaped head. Pegs of ebony. Neck 259mm long, 50mm wide at the body join, 43mm wide at the nut. Nut of ebony. Fingerboard of ebony. Frets of ivory (frets 1 - 9), and ebony (frets 10 - 16). 6 strings. Overall size: 788 Body length: 367 Body width, upper bouts: 164 Body width, wasit: 120 Body width, lower bouts: 225 Body depth: 67 (bottom) - 61 (neck join) String length: 525 No inscriptions.
