Serial number: 336059. According to the firm's archives [instrument books], the instrument was "Model 4012 H.P. S/P Imperial" made in a batch of 50. Overall size: 330; bell 121. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 9.7 8.6. Inscribed on bell "Imperial / MADE BY / Boosey & Hawkes Ltd / LONDON / MADE IN ENGLAND"; on valve stems "1", "2", "3". Decorative features: mother of pearl buttons. With original fitted hard case, covered in black leathercloth. Given with adaptor for using trumpet mouthpiece in a cornet (5790).
