DescriptionOne-piece straight tube with a flared bell; body made by splitting a branch into two halves, hollowing out the bore, then gluing together the two halves and covering with wound birch bark; end-blown with integral mouthpiece; 5 finger-holes, 1 thumb-hole. Pair of raised bands circa one-fifth way down from proximal end. Overall size: 405mm. Bore: mouthpiece cup diameter 12.8mm; bore at top 3.7mm; bell diameter 56mm. Decorative features: pair of raised bands circa one fifth way down from proximal end. |
