DescriptionTechnical description: Soundboard of bookmatched spruce. Soundhole 75.3mm diameter. Purfling around soundhole of 13 strips (in total) of alternate stained and natural maple. Edging around the soundboard of walnut (?) with 3 pairs of natural and stained maple strips inside. Bridge of stained maple, rectangular with oblong ends, total length 112.5mm, width 27.0mm. Ivory saddle. Bridge pins of rosewood with ivory dots, one bridge pin of ebony. Sides and bookmatched back of lightly figured maple, with walnut (?) edging. Tapered bottom strip of maple, with ebony endpin. Black stained maple heel, neck and head, the heel flowing into the neck abruptly, VÂ joint between the neck and figure-of-eight head. Ebony tuning pegs with protruding ivory dots at the end. Ivory nut and frets, the frets 1.0mm wide. Fingerboard of black stained maple, raised above and glued to the soundboard. 17 frets in total. Repair History: Bridge bar, nut and some of the frets are modern replacements. One bridge pin not original.
