DescriptionTechnical description: Brass; narrow semi-flat rim contour; maximum bite curvature 0.75; deep intermediate, almost conical, cup shape with smoothly blended throat. Cup volume 1908; shape quotient 1.146. Overall size: length 59.4; external diameter 24.4. Sounding length: cup depth c 17. Bore: cup diameter 16.8; minimum diameter 4.7. Depth of taper: shank depth 26.7. Diameter of taper: maximum 11.8; minimum 10.8. Stamped at top of shank "KOH... / LONDON", inscription now barely legible. Purchased with cornopean (217).
