Articulated C♯₄/G♯₅ in order to trill F♯₅-G♯₅ and to enable a legato from B₄ and C♯₅. Throat B♭-C♯₅ trill. Patent B♭ mechanism: automatic separate throat B♭ and speaker keys, intended to produce a clear throat B♭ and B₃ and a true E₃. Alternative R1 touchpiece for C♯₄/G♯₅. Patent C sharp mechanism. 17 keys, 6 rings, 1 plate, 4 black ebonite rollers. L0: T; speaker. L1: T + ring + vent; throat A♮; throat A♭. L2: Plate + ring + vent (forked C₆).
