DescriptionTechnical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Six pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, middle section for the fingers of the right hand, lower section with keys, bell. Original boxwood mouthpiece with a long tenon and a rectangular tip, grooved for cord with 13 grooves; short and narrow table (13mm); aperture: length c 30mm, width c 5mm at bottom, c 9.6 at tip. Mouthpiece overall size 88.6, 62.4 from tip to tenon, bore 13.6. Barrel short and almost flask-shaped.
Upper section: ornamented on top with a single groove; keys mounted in turned rectangular rings, which are also ornamented with a single groove.
Middle section with a wide ivory ferrule, no thumb rest.
Lower section: Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a bell-shaped swelling. Bascule key guided in a rounded turned ring, also ornamented with a single groove. Bell continuous.
