A detailed fingering chart for use at A4 = 440 Hz prepared by D. Murray Campbell is in the owner's documentation; the fingering for best response and intonation is not simple. The primary functions of the keys are: L0: B_. R0: C#. R4: G_ but it is possible that the instrument was built for use at a higher pitch and that the R4 key was intended for F#. Mouthpiece (1157) made for this instrument, 1980. Specific literature references: Campbell 1999. Illustration references: Vol. 1 p.125; Campbell and Greated 1987, p.364. |
