Serial number: F20477. Overall size: length 604; bell 203. Sounding length: minimum 1545. Bore: m.t.s. and v.t.s. (1,2) 11.7. Bore: mouthpipe at c35 mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 8.8; m.t.s. at c 570mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 11.8; m.t.s. at c 680mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bore 11.8; centre of valve cluster at c 868mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (1,2) 11.8; 773mm from bell end, 11.8; c 331mm from bell end, 16.7. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 8.2 at end. Inscribed on bell "TITLEIST / BY / GETZEN / ELKHORN, WIS. / U.S.A."; on side of 2nd valve casing "F20477". With original fitted hard case, aluminium and black leather effect plastic. This bugle was used until the 2001 season when the horn line was replaced with three valve bugles. |
